The University of Zakho Conducts Admission Test for Students Applying to Join the Department of Physical Education

On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, the University of Zakho conducted an admission test for graduates of middle school and sports institutes to join the Department of Physical Education in the Faculty of Education at the University of Zakho.

The test consisted of evaluating the advanced students ’physical fitness level, performing barbell exercises, running, jumping and stability, measuring the elements of fitness, transition velocity and periodic endurance, in addition to a personal interview.

In order to review the progress of the admission and motivate the students, the Council of the University which consisted of Prof. Yassin Taha Mustafa, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof.Diyar Saeed Abdul Karim, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Karwan Fahmy Sami, Vice President for Student Affairs and Prof. Dr. Sherzad Zakaria Muhammad, Dean of the Faculty of Education, visited the exam halls.

It is noteworthy that the students were divided into groups in order to run the test easily and that the test will be conducted over two days, taking into account the instructions and health regulations.
